guess it's time to finish evangelion
I am pleased with your affliction.

QC'ing isn't a huge amount of effort really
That seems like a cool job, then. Probably good practice for comprehension, as well.

I'm decent at proof reading and pretty articulate, so I figure it's a good thing to keep me going while I'm not good enough at Japanese to actually translate stuff.

watched end of eva. thought the ending was the most incomprehensible piece of shit i'd ever witnessed. did a bit of talking and wiking and stuff to try and find a satisfying explanation of the series as a whole.

not sure how i feel about the whole thing, but glad i watched it.

Whoa, you finished all of Evangelion AND End of Eva? JEEZ

End of Eva spoilers:
Dude when Komm Suesser Tod started playing and everyone in the world was dying and people were exploding into LCL and Lilith is like the size of the earth and omgggg

Coolest shit ever. I was so moved by the awesomeness(proper definition) of it. It was just so... big. So final. And the song is so... casually dark. God, some of my favourite footage from any anime.

Oh yeah, now you can watch my AMV!

Wow, I am so glad FMA didn't take a season break. It just never stops being amazing.
Envy and Gluttony's new forms are incredibly awesome, but it makes me sadder that Lust is gone. I suppose she had her ass-kicking moments already, though.
We're only on episode 25. If it's going to take a season break then the next one could be the last one. It can still technically do it.

Oh, I see. I just naturally assumed 24 would be the last in a season.

What the hell does "zawa" mean? Do I find out later? It's creeping me out.

It doesn't "mean" anything. It's an onomatopoeia that the manga's author uses frequently in uneasy situations. The anime adapts it quite literally. :x

It represents whispering. Like paranoid thoughts or spirits or something.

I didn't even consider the fact that it might not mean something. That's what I get for studying Japanese vocab while watching Kaiji, I guess. Thanks.

I am currently greatly amused by Liar Game as I have decided that it takes place in the same universe as Kaiji.

It actually takes place in the same universe as One-Outs, which is a similar manga/anime as Kaiji/Liar Game/Akagi but follows baseball.

Is it even worth posting about how awesome FMA was anymore? Another mindblowingly good episode. Can't wait to one day watch them all in a row.

Preview for the next episode looks oh-so-revealing, too. exciiited
