Farther would work if he was literally walking through the DS game.

I didn't realise there was a distinction, I just looked it up now. Apparently the distinction is fairly recent, and that's why I've seen them used interchangably before.

Actually, I never really thought about that... I've said "farther" in real life but I have never typed it. :x
