Good job Cythrosi, I read your article and found that it did the film quite a good justice.  I too am a fan of Tim Burton's work (especially when he pairs up with Johnny) and found all the things you discussed to be true and apparent in the film.  Good Job.

Good review, albeit a little short. I'm hesitant to mention that, since all the reviews have the same length and it sort've fits the fast pace of this forum as a whole. Compared to most reviews of movies it's just... shorter. But you also don't come anywhere near to spoiling it, and here we have comments so don't take this as a criticism, just an observation.

Considering this movie is a remake of a Broadway revival, I should hope the music is good. I REALLY liked this music, even more so than the original in some ways. Johnny Depp can actually sing, better than I thought we would be able to. I don't think he really carried the power of the show very well, but it was bloody enough to make me not care. Tim Burton can't do wrong, ESPECIALLY with Depp and his latest infatuation. They kept the plot straight and true. It was more like a remix of a song than a cover.

As I write this, do you want comments on the review or the topic reviewed on this forum?

Both are fine.
Part of the reason that article was really short was due to it being a sample piece.  And I've not written many reviews before.

I just realized that the shortness makes it awesome. It's not a scheduled review site, it's just regular people saying what they think. Rather elloquently I might add. They come fast and there's a large scope and hey, you're not even getting paid. I think I like it this way. It's not people who have to WORK to review, it's people who WANT to review.
