And in certain contexts, < = angle bracket...

But on another note, can anyone actually write those curly brackets properly? Several years ago, I decided that it just wasn't worth the effort of trying, and so these days, I just write it as -( )-

I learned "BIDMAS", with 'indices' instead of 'exponents'.

Yeah, I can, and I actually quite like using them because of that.  :P
