Kirby Super Star just deserves its own special thread. :)

I hate to sound negative here, but most of those games don't sound that great to me...

  • I find Wario completely annoying.
  • MillionHeir is a PC series that was never really that good to begin with.
  • I have no desire to have yet another game with Mario in the title...I am literally tired of Nintendo's overuse of that chubby plumber. Also, many of the reviews that came out of Japan for Sluggers were lukewarm.  It's sounds just like Strikers; it's a re-vamped version of a Gamecube game.  No thanks.

Kirby still gets some love from me, though.  Even if this game is a remake, it will probably be pretty good.

I don't want to be hit by a blue shell while pitching.

Or batting.  It gives a whole new meaning to the term "Bean Ball."

I've decided that Strikers is actually a total gem on the Wii.. as long as you have a friend on your team.

Strikers, from what I've played, is a lot like the Mario Party games. Can be extremely fun with friends (especially if you all take it really seriously), but when played on your own it just isn't that fun.
Like a see-saw.

Most multiplayer Mario games are of the party game variety, from my experience.

Kirby SS looks awesome. The rest of them, I'm not tremendously crazy about.

So, we have yet another Mario sport game, a remake, Wario, and a flash game port.

...Wow, I can't wait.  Kirby looks good, but it's a remake.  It's hard to think too much of a game you've already played.  Wario Land may be good, but I get the feeling it's gonna be a gimmicky mess.  The other two?  No way.

It's sad that you would even see crap like this mentioned in the same breath as first party Nintendo.  That never would have happened some years ago.

Yeah, it's a remake, but people who never played the original will enjoy and appreciate it.

Like me. :x

And like Super Mario 64 DS, people who have played the original will still enjoy it.

I'll be getting Kirby SS and Wario Land: Shake for sure. It's about damn time they had a new Wario Land game. All that WarioWare garbage was making me nauseous. Kirby is always welcome, including remakes.

I actually quite enjoy the WarioWare series. Always seemed to me like a collection of fast and intuitive flash games. (see Four Second Frenzy)

It just wasn't my thing. I didn't find the mini-games fun for longer than about three tries each, and I absolutely despise those obnoxious little characters they continued to add. Seriously, some of them are mind-boggling.

The main fun of the Warioware games was the "Holy crap what do I do" aspect of the microgames.
The problem is, the moment you've played them all, the game no longer holds any value whatsoever.

I still think it's sort of fun to play Super Hard mode. The one with the crackhead elephant and the shuffling poses.

It's fun to make fun of the innuendo of the WarioWare games. :)

I love the WarioWare games even though they have little replay value. I'll play through them once then let them rot.

That's the case with me.  I got Warioware Touched! about...two years ago?  I played it a lot for a few days, until I'd unlocked most everything.  I don't think I've picked it up twice since.
