Some stuff is going on for me. I'm not going to specify what, but there's a chance I could be off the internet for a reasonable amount of time. I don't know if I will or not yet. I don't know how long it will be for. But I know a possibility exists.

...Well, that certainly sounds pretty serious.  I'm curious, but I'm not even sure I want to know what's going on.

Uhh... Wait. What's the time frame for this?  It sounds like more of a virus problem, though, or something, so that wouldn't even affect me anyway.

I kind of want to know what's going on now.

That was my first thought, but I think he would have just said it directly.  It sounds like something bigger than just a virus problem.  I've got my own ideas, but I'm not really sure what it could be.

Someone I know pretty damn well has been arrested for filesharing and DVD piracy. I don't want to say too much in case I accidentally incriminate him (even more), myself, or anyone else I know. Or at least, I don't want to say anything on the forum openly.
So far nothing has happened with me.
I do feel like shit though for him, because he was a good friend and we shared many good times together.
