Wow this was actually on the second page.

http://techdirt.com/articles/20100803/00013910465.shtml

Thought this whole thing is pretty silly and I give Wikimedia props for totally bitching out the FBI.

Love the guy's response.

I don't know what the hell the FBI's beef with Wikipedia might be, although there may be some things that are leaked through Wikipedia that shouldn't be of which I am unaware. That's the only justification for picking a fight I can see. But really, how does using the FBI logo on Wikipedia at all facilitate the kind of behavior that would lead to violating that law? It's not like you can't find the FBI logo elsewhere on the internet.

It probably has to do with the Wikileaks thing going on.  The wonderful bureaucracy got its target mixed up.

You know, when I heard that the FBI was targeting someone with "wiki" in their name, my mind immediately went to Wikileaks. I immediately dismissed that idea in my head as ridiculous, but I may be putting a fair bit too much faith in our government.

Wikileaks has wiki in the name so everything with wiki in the name is part of the problem!

This is quite funny: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/8061979.stm

Firstly for "In one video titled Jonas Brother Live On Stage, a user posted a comment saying: "I'm 12 years old and what is this?""

Then also for one of the comments in the comments section:
Quote from: Richard C Mongler
This type of thing is rampant on the internet, and should not be allowed. The only solution is stricter government controls on the content of the internet, and harsher punishments for those who violate those controls. Everyone involved in this hacking attack should receive no less than 25 years in prison, and should have to register as sex offenders.

To which my reaction was "christ that would be harsh" until I noticed the name.

Uber right-wingers organize massive censorship of Digg.

By far one of the craziest things I have ever read.

This sentimental movie marathon has taught us one thing.
The opposite of true love is as follows:
