I might have done a Skyward Strike and just spin attacked to launch it making more work for myself.
I cannot seem to remember. I fought the boss again using the method you and Kezia used, and that seemed to work way better. Had I read your post earlier (Sean's post that is), I would have experimented more when fighting him again!
Really, I think Skyward Sword is good but perhaps I am nitpicking or have way too high expectations. I am hoping it will be a game I will look back fondly on afterwards. I might have felt the same way about Twilight Princess, but seem to have fond memories after playing it a second time. Maybe it will age well? Hopefully?
Also, I have a love/hate relationship with the Spirit Realms. I HATE them if I fail them at all and have to retry. But love them if I have several close calls and just barely pass them.
I can see what Alex is saying. The DS games made you do things/puzzles in the areas before the temples. This game makes you do that as well it seems. The temples seem simple too, but I could just be too used to Zelda temples now.
Sean, I hear Spirit Tracks is supposed to be much better than Phantom Hourglass although, Phantom Hourglass was so disappointing that I have little faith in what Spirit Tracks might have to offer.
