This sign was an absolute bitch and took me over two hours in After Effects:

It doesn't even look that difficult. It's just that the scaling and motion tracking was a real pain in the ass to get looking right, and to do it without the sign vibrating around all over the place due to the motion tracking inaccuracies. I got it roughly fairly quickly but then had to spend ages making it look smooth.

Plus I accidentally linked the video to it's own motion tracking, which massively fucked things up when I tried to apply things, and it took me a stupidly long time to notice what was up.

So essentially, my first three months of school can be summarized as:

Essentially co-running two clubs, serving as an officer in at least three others, playing the lead role in one musical and potentially auditioning for a lead part in another, getting going on 3 AP classes and Physics, studying for three SAT subject tests, and finding some way to complete a college application before October 26.

I too am busy, but not that busy. Just, trapped at school busy.

Today I was reminded of how much I hate public transportation. It takes me an hour and a half, essentially to get home. An hour to get to school.

I have classes from 8-12 on Mon, Wed, Fri and work from 3-9. Classes from 10:10-2:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays and work from 3-9. This would be bad if I didn't have to get up at 6 am to catch the bus, and get home past 11 pm. I could take the bus home between school and work, but then I'd have to basically head back immediately once I arrived home.

I suppose it is all not that bad. My boss is a total dick, but on the upside, I'm making good money. The main thing that frightens me is that I'm already exhausted and it has only been one day. And I got off work early.

I really need to get back in the hang of things.

so he's not really that much busier, just not as lazy.

I for one have been busy as fuck lately. Classes on tuesdays and thursdays from about 11 until 6, then I have Improv practice from 6-8 m/w. I have a radio show SOMETIME, I'm also trying to get involved with the newspapers online video section, as well as working out m/w/f/s and not to mention appeasing friends who claim I've become a recluse (which isn't true I'm just busy as hell)
On the plus side, I might be getting paid to go to this party on friday and bartend, which is awesome.

That's how all my university classes are. Today in Astrobiology, someone asked, "How do you tell if it's a planet or a moon? Do moons have lower temperature???" In English, we discussed what a thesis was. In Chemistry, it was all about how to write numbers like 1560 like 1.56 x 10^3.

IS THIS UNIVERSITY OR 5TH GRADE I'M NOT SURE ANYMORE AAAAAAA.

Tina, at least you can skip classes. Every one of my teachers takes attendance and 50% of our grade is based on that... D:
