I did pretty well, since I asked for mostly small stuff this year, and my grandparents bought my most expensive gift, so my mom was able to get pretty much everything off of my suggestion list (I was only expecting a few things off it)

I got a bunch of stuff, but by far the most relevant is a pair of Beats Tour earphones. They are easily the best earphones I've ever owned. <333

My mom got me a bunch of stuff for my future dorm room, a couple calendars, a really cute Peanuts-themed clock, two older DS RPGs, EA Sports Active 2 (I need it after Christmas Eve :x :x), Epic Mickey, and a whole bunch of gift cards. (Apparently I'm difficult to surprise...)

I got a 24" 1080p monitor to use with my laptop (and future desktop most likely), assorted items of clothing (Christmas sucks when you're older :\), a comfort padded bike saddle (I asked for one, to be fair), a stove-top espresso maker, about 2kg of Dairy Milk chocolate, and I've got a couple of things still to come from grandparents coming round for dinner later.

Nothing. Well, my mom had bought me some assorted clothes (pajama pants, socks (<3), tanktops, etc) which she gave me when I came home for Christmas, and there's some stuff she intends to get me before I go back to Montreal (assorted small things like a kettle/travel mug/etc that I'm too lazy to go buy myself) but nothing specifically for Christmas, which is totally fine by me. We don't really ~do~ Christmas anymore since my brother and I grew up. All I really wanted was a break from school and to come home for a couple of weeks anyway. :3

I got one of the cheapass TVs and cheapass Blu-Ray players from Black Friday for Christmas. Insanely surprised, because I didn't ask for either, but I'm crazy excited to get them both hooked up.
Also got a couple 360 games, couple Wii games (EPIC MICKEY CANNOT WAIT OMGGG), ummmm some awesome candy. My cousin got me a Linus mug, which is SO awesome. <333
And various other small things, but yeah, HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. <333

(i also enjoy giving things. my favorite: everything i got my girlfriend and the wacom tablet i got my sister. )

No, they're both quality. The BR player has built in wireless instead of the shitty "wireless capable" that requires a 50 dollar dongle. It's got support for Netflix, etc etc.
TV is a 26 inch LCD. I don't need anything bigger for my room. But it has 3 HDMI ports and is 1080p, so once I get some cables I'm going to run the BR to one of them.

Lossless and v0/320kbps sound the exact same unless you can hear a range of frequencies that the vast majority of humans can't. :x

I think the difference in headphones can be heard with v2 (~256) as long as the recording is good. But if you mainly have 192, then it's pretty much pointless.
