Live broadcast from a festival in Lisbon:
http://www.justin.tv/kulete

Muse are on from 5 minutes after I posted this.

EDIT: I was told a time half an hour earlier than what I suspect is the real one. So it's 35 minutes from the original post. 20 from this edit.

It was pretty good. Basically just like a best of.
A bit annoyed that they missed the first two songs off, which were apparently Knights Of Cydonia and Hysteria.

Yeah, missing Hysteria and KoC ticked me off a bit. So did the fact that they played Take A Bow last, which now just seems to be their standard song to finish with, which I really take a dislike to. The song should finish after an epic song. Take A Bow does finish with a crescendo, but it takes a while to get there and completely takes the energy off the finale of the concert in the meantime.

Watching it was made more fun by the fact I was watching it with someone else and talking on MSN, and we were commenting on the song intro's, outro's and fillers.
It's also amusing to guess what the song is going to be.

Take A Bow is like... a build-up. It would be fitting to go first

Which is my opinion too. Take A Bow first, KoC last. To have it the other way around just doesn't really make sense.

Take A Bow should be like the foreword for the concert. Something to say "Ok, the Muse concert is starting now. Awesome shall commence." To put it at the end just give the concert a bit of an anti-climax.
When I went to see them, they did it the right way around. Knights Of Cydonia was a truly epic finale. For the second night at the same venue though, they did it the other way around, and I'm pretty glad they did them the way they did.

I still think Stockholm Syndrome is their best finale song, but KOC would be brilliant as well, no doubt. I think I just like Stockholm Syndrome better.

Any from Stockholm, KoC or New Born, because they all build up to a really loud, flashy, energetic jizz-chord finale. The customised outro things they put on the end of the songs usually helps quite a lot.
One thing I have noticed is the fact that the bits they play between songs, that sort of merge them together do change quite a lot from gig to gig, or at least from tour to tour. I've seen a lot of footage in the last year or so, what with festivals and HAARP and stuff, but I was still getting a lot of the outro's where I'd think "not heard this bit before".
Aside from Map of the Problematique, where they usually have the riff from RATM's cover of Maggie's Farm, the improvisation bits tend to shift around quite a lot, which is nice. It makes each concert feel different.

LOL BLASTS FROM MY MUSICAL PAST.

I don't really care what the majority of the hardcorelolrapper fans say.

I don't know how anyone can listen to these two songs and say that Mike Shinoda doesn't have incredible lyrics, flow, and delivery.

Dedicated and It's Going Down, two songs I used to adore a few years back (and still love now).

I've always respected that he has a pretty tight flow and decent lyrics, even though I've never liked Linkin Park.

Anyways, just recently, I've discovered a band that is slowly but surely becoming one of my favourites. They're called Spiritualized, and they're a dream pop band that formed when their precursor band Spaceman 3 broke up. Perhaps you've heard of them.

I went and got all the albums by them I could find, and my favourite is most certainly Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space. Here is a link to the title track of the aforementioned album, which is also my favourite track from it. It's absolutely enthralling.

Their newer album, Songs in A&E is fully streamable on Last. Here's the link, if you're interested.

Give them a listen. I promise you'll love them.

Some stuff:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=hcEf5fIlWBI

Reel Big Fish cover of "Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins. I fucking hate the original version of this song, or at least the reason it was written. I'm not a fan of Collins either (after Genesis at least). I do love this cover though.

Also, one of the saddest and most beautiful songs I've ever heard:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=huRwBFmAx78

By Dropkick Murphys, but took me completely by surprise, because it's pretty much all piano and singing, with a bit of pipes and mandolin. It's really soft, and nothing like most of their other rock or punk stuff. It's also brilliant, and the lyrics (written originally by Eric Bogle) are really touching.

I second this recommendation wholeheartedly. They're like Hot Chip only much cooler than Hot Chip.

To reopen this thread, I'd like to list a bunch of bands that I've recently have recommended to me and that I recommend.

Margot and the Nuclear So and So's new albums are fan-fucking-tastic
I Heart Hiroshima is love
New Ben Folds is amazing
More people need to listen to Cake

Now recommend me something because I'm starting to get bored with the music that I have  and I want something more.
There's nothing I can do but man,
I wish you weren't here with me

MK, you might like Captain.  Or you might despise them.  I'm not sure which side of the fence I'm on regarding them...

They remind me of Margot-Stars-like bands at times, but with a more a poppy British-indie like sound.  Then again, I haven't listened to them for a while so my description could be extremely far from the truth.
